The Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology (WIHG), Dehradun, organized a “CLEANLINESS CAMPAIGN” at “Rajkiya Prathmik Government School”, Shastri Nagar, Dehradun on 27-09-2024. A total of 150 school students and teachers, along with volunteers from the WIHG have participated in the campaign. Participation of females was encouraging; almost 80 women/girls participated in this event.

During this program the school premises and its surrounding areas were cleaned. Bleaching powder was sprayed on the school campus to kill bacteria, viruses, and fungi. This campaign held significant value for students in several ways, helping to foster awareness and responsibility for cleanliness and environmental sustainability.
