During the last quarter of the year 2024-25 (January 20- March 25), a series of lectures was organized in the first session of the full-day Hindi workshop organized on 13.03.25 in the committee room of the institute, under which the scientist of the institute, Dr. Som Dutt gave his lecture on "Geotourism and Geoheritage in the Himalayas" and Dr. Gautam Rawat, Scientist 'E' and Official Language Officer gave his lecture on "Status of Official Language in the Constitution".

A lecture series was organized in the first session of the full-day Hindi workshop organized during the third quarter of the year 2024-25 (October 24 - December 24), under which the scientist of the Institute, Dr. Paramjit Singh delivered his lecture on the topic "Tectonic activities around the MBT and its area in the Kumaon region of the North-West Himalayas and their role in the exposure of the Lesser Himalayas" and the translation officer of the Institute delivered his lecture on the topic "Second All India Scientific and Technical Seminar held at ARIES, Nainital - A Review".

In the second session of the workshop, Dr. Gautam Rawat, Scientist 'E' and Official Language Officer gave practical training on basic Hindi typing to the trainees present in the workshop.

During the year 2024-25, the institute participated in Hindi Diwas and All India Official Language Conference organized at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

The Institute also participated in the Second All India Official Language Seminar organized at ARIES, Nainital in December 2024 and the Workshop on Inspection Questionnaire to be presented before the Hon'ble Parliamentary Committee organized at DST, New Delhi in January 2025.

NARAKAS, Dehradun, Ka.1 participated in the NARAKAS meeting organized by the Indian Survey Department on 11.03.25 and NARAKAS received the incentive certificate by securing the sixth position among 46 member offices under the best performance of official language for the year 2023-24.
